Biography
Bradley J. Birzer is Professor of History and holds the Russell Amos Kirk Chair in American Studies at Hillsdale College, where he has taught since 1999. His work focuses on American intellectual history and the Western tradition.
He earned his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his Ph.D. from Indiana University. Birzer is the author of books on figures including Russell Kirk, Christopher Dawson, Charles Carroll of Carrollton, and J.R.R. Tolkien, and he co-founded The Imaginative Conservative.
