Biography
Jeffrey M. Herbener is Chair and Professor of Economics at Grove City College and holds the Peterson-Luddy Chair in Austrian Economics at the Mises Institute. His research focuses on monetary theory and policy, business cycles, capital and interest, valuation, and the Austrian school of economics.
He earned his B.S. from Nebraska Wesleyan University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in economics from Oklahoma State University. Herbener edited The Meaning of Ludwig von Mises and The Pure Time-Preference Theory of Interest and has published widely on Austrian economics.
