Biography
Kevin R. C. Gutzman is Professor of History at Western Connecticut State University. His teaching and research focus on the American Revolution, the early republic, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and American constitutional history.
Gutzman holds degrees in history, law, and public affairs from the University of Texas and the University of Virginia. His books include Thomas Jefferson—Revolutionary, James Madison and the Making of America, The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution, and, with Tom Woods, Who Killed the Constitution?.
